I. Information Technology
A. Implement an access and discovery portal to provide virtual integration and a simplified user interface for WRLC member library resources.B. Develop a plan and potential timetable for replacing existing library management and consortial borrowing systems based on member library priorities and opportunities.
C. Develop a process to incorporate usability testing and end user feedback for all public interfaces on an ongoing basis.
D. Develop an ALADIN system recovery site at an offsite location.
E. Assess current metasearch functionality and explore possible alternatives.
II. Resource Sharing
A. Explore approaches for providing collection analysis and electronic resource usage data to optimize value of the collections.B. Extend Consortium Loan Service requests to licensed electronic resources via OpenURL framework.
III. Offsite Storage
A. Initiate construction of storage facility addition.B. Implement shared last copy policy for storage facility.
IV. Consortial enhancements
